Subscriptions to The Strad are available internationally but there are geographical variances in price.
Non offer based subscriptions do not have minimum subscription term. They can be cancelled and any liability on your account can be refunded at any time.
3. Subscription Offers
The minimum subscription term is 12 issues. Please note that we reserve the right to withdraw a promotion at any time. Please allow up to 6 weeks for delivery of your gift. 4. Payment Types
4.1 Direct Debit - If you choose to pay for your subscription by direct debit (DD) you can do so by mail or telephone using the contact details below or online at www.escosubs.co.uk/newsquest.
On acceptance of your DD subscription, we will inform you of the date on which your subscription will begin and send you your vouchers before this date. The subscription is deemed continuous and you will be charged every month/quarter as appropriate. If the price of your subscription increases, we will give you at least 10 days’ notice. You may be contacted via email regarding your Direct Debit Plan. If you would prefer to be contacted by letter instead, please call us on +44 (0)1371 851887.
Upon payment by DD the DD Guarantee will apply. The DD Guarantee is offered by all Banks and Building Societies that take part in the DD Scheme. This means that:
4.2.1 - the efficiency and security of the Scheme is monitored and protected by your own Bank or Building Society.
4.2.2 - If the amounts to be paid or the payment dates change, Newsquest Media Group Limited will notify you at least 10 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed.
4.2.3 - If an error is made by Newsquest Media Group Limited or your Bank or Building Society, you are guaranteed a full and immediate refund from your branch of the amount paid.
4.3 Continuous Card Authority
If you choose to pay for your subscription by continuous card authority, your debit/credit card will be debited every month. Your subscription will be deemed continuous and you will receive vouchers every 13 weeks until you cancel, which must be in line with the procedures below. If the price of your subscription increases, we will give you at least 10 days’ notice. Minimum subscription term is 6 months.
4.4 Money-back Guarantee & Cancellation
If you are not completely satisfied, you may cancel your subscription (having chosen any method of payment or offer) at any time during the first 14 days by calling the subscription department (details below) and we will give you a full refund. After this 14 day period ‘Subscription Offers’ are not refundable until the minimum subscription term is up. Any liability on the account of a regular subscription is refundable at any time.
If you decide to cancel your DD subscription please leave up to 28 days for any liability on your account to be refunded.
If you decide to cancel your Continuous Card Authority Subscription please leave up to 28 days for any liability on your account to be refunded.
